    Mission Statement

The mission of Bannockburn School is to meet the cognitive, social and emotional needs of students living in a global society.

    About Us

Bannockburn School District 106 has provided excellence in education for over 85 years. The district is 2.75 square miles including the Village of Bannockburn, the easternmost section of Riverwoods, areas of unincorporated West Deerfield including Del Mar Woods, and the western edge of Highland Park. The District serves approximately 150 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Students attend Deerfield High School.

Our dedicated teachers and staff focus on meeting the unique needs of every learner. Teachers and support staff provide challenge, enrichment and support to the regular curriculum as needed. Technology is used as a tool to support instruction and further enhance the learning experience. Depending on the grade level, iPads, chromebooks or laptops are provided for each student. Social and emotional learning is emphasized as an important part of the school curriculum.

Parent support and involvement contributes to the success of our District. Bannockburn School District is a recipient of Financial Recognition status from the Illinois State Board of Education.
