Mr. Matthew Gopin, President
About Mr. Gopin:
Mr. Matt Gopin has been a district resident since 2016. Mr. Gopin is a graduate of the University of Iowa and has spent the past 20+ years working in Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance either as a consultant or as a corporate leader. He is currently the President of SecurGRC, a consulting firm that specializes in Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance. Mr. Gopin and his wife, Lindsay, founded Rootz, a fine arts school for children in Northbrook, in 2017 where he is currently the CEO. They have also founded a non-profit, Chance to Shine, which provides opportunities for underprivileged children to participate in the fine arts. Additionally, Mr. Gopin is the president of the Tarns of the Moor Homeowners Association. Mr. and Mrs. Gopin have five children; Charlotte (Charley), Tyler, Jaxen, Drake and Wesley. Mr. Gopin enjoys spending time with his children, traveling, exercising, and spending time outdoors.
Mr. Gopin has been on the board since 2020.

Mrs. Allison Bowman-Vice-President
About Mrs. Bowman:
A district resident for 6 years, Mrs. Bowman attended Loyola University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. In 2014, Mrs. Bowman graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with her Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology. Mrs. Bowman worked as a mental health therapist at Streamwood Behavioral health hospital conducting therapy with adolescents who were admitted for harm to themselves or others. Additionally, she was a therapist on the forensic boys unit, leading both group and individual sessions. Mrs. Bowman volunteers at Bannockburn School in the hot lunch program and is a Sunday school teacher at her church in Evanston.
Mrs. Bowman likes to spend quality time with her family and friends. She and her family love to visit new parks, go for bike rides, bake together, do "mini road trips", have tea parties, go to the beach/lake, and have movie nights together. She is also an avid Orange Theory user.
Mrs. Bowman has been a board member since 2021.

Mrs. Kassandra Hayes-Secretary
About Mrs. Kassandra Hayes:
Mrs. Hayes has been a district resident since 2014. Mrs. Hayes attended Howard University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. She also has a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Education and a Master's Degree from Bank Street College in Educational Leadership. After working as a news reporter and anchor for NBC and CBS affiliated stations, she followed her passion into the classroom and has devoted the last twenty years to developing the next generation of leaders. She is currently a Senior Associate Dean of Admission at Lake Forest Academy. Additionally, she serves as the President of the North Shore Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc., is a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Lake County and is an Orange Theory enthusiast! Along with her husband Mel and their 2 daughters, Kennedy and Hunter, they love to travel, watch movies and are active members of Willow South Lake Church. Mrs. Hayes is committed to serving the children and faculty in the Bannockburn School community.

Mr. David Kotowsky
About Mr. Kotowsky:
A District resident for 10 years, Mr. Kotowsky graduated cum laude in Business at Illinois Wesleyan University. He is the owner and CEO of the Advantage Plumbing Group (Advantage Gallery in Niles and Hydrology in Chicago). He is also part owner of the Galley, headquartered in Tulsa and is the incoming Board President of the Forte Group. David and his wife have been married for 18 years and have 3 children. Their children all attended Bannockburn School. Their eldest is now in College, and their 2 other children are currently attending Deerfield High School. Besides being on the School Board, he participates with the Cub Scouts. During his free time, he enjoys taking family vacations, watching the kids' sports and activities, exercising and playing and watching sports.
Mr. Kotowsky has been on the board since 2015.

Mr. Brian Kueber
About Mr. Kueber:
Mr. Kueber has been a district resident since 2020 with his wife and 2 sons. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Northwestern University.
He currently works as a project director with Ingredion Incorporated, a global food ingredient manufacturer in various roles of increasing responsibility in engineering and operations management. He volunteers with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, organizing groups of colleagues to help coach high school students in entrepreneurship pitch challenges.
During his free time, Brian enjoys running, hiking, backpacking and other outdoor activities, but most of his time is chasing his two little boys around!
Mr. Kueber has been on the Board since 2023.

Mr. Steven Levine
About Mr. Levine:
Mr. Levine along with his wife and 2 children, have been District residents since 2020. Mr. Levine has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Missouri with minors in anthropology, sociology and business management. He is the President and CEO of Simplecomm Solutions Inc., a technical communications and energy consultant company. Steve and his family are members of B'nai Tikvah congregation in Deerfield. He is on the executive board for CJE SeniorLife. SeniorLife has been helping older adults pursue lives of meaning, independence and good health. He is a volunteer for the JUF, traveling to Israel twice a year supporting the sister region in the northern Negev Desert. He is part of a group that helps fund social service and aid programs for the youth, elderly and the disabled of this area. During his free time, he is an avid triathlete, gardener and aspiring world traveler.
Mr. Levine has been a board member since 2023.
